Western Canada
Wilderness Committee
With over 29,000
members from coast to coast, and 30,000 additional donors and
volunteers, they are Canada's largest membership-based, citizen-funded
wilderness protection group. They've helped to gain protection for over
40 major wilderness areas in Western Canada, including millions of
hectares of critical wildlife habitats, and some of the world's last
large tracts of oldgrowth temperate rainforest and boreal forest.
There is much that remains to be done and we at protect your forest support them in all of their goals, their struggles and victories toward sustaining this beautiful planet, one step at a time.

Humboldt Forest Defense
I can't say enough about this web site and what they represent. These are the people out there physically getting things done. If your looking to support our cause in the front lines this is it. This is protection at its best at a peaceful and non violent approach.

Clean Vibes, what a great company with a great idea. Education and encouragement has always been a huge part of waste management and these guys are on top of the game.
The Clean Vibes Mission
Clean Vibes is a company formed and dedicated to responsible on-site waste management of outdoor festivals and events. Our mission is to actively encourage and promote recycling, composting and proper waste disposal. We hope to educate and inspire a new generation of responsible stewards. Our goal is to divert waste from landfills by increasing the amount of material that is recycled and composted, thereby greatly reducing the ecological footprint of outdoor festivals and events.

The Nature Conservancy of Canada
To me NCC is that organization that does what at times I wish I could do. When I see or hear about a special area that I believe needs help but I can't afford it or don't know where to go or who to talk to. NCC can help, and they've been doing it for years!
The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is Canada's leading national land conservation organization. We are a private, non-profit group that partners with corporate and individual landowners to achieve the direct protection of our most important natural treasures through property securement (donation, purchase, conservation agreement and the relinquishment of other legal interests in land) and long-term stewardship of our portfolio of properties.
