On Sunday March 7 2010 we were pleased to have participated in a small town clean up in Port Alberni B.C.
With the help and coordination of Bob Casault of Remax who has been setting this up a couple times now, we gladly joined in and walked around an area of town to pick up any garbage left behind by others. It happened to be a nice sunny day and we were satisfied with the outcome. We hope that this can build from here and have more of these types of afternoons in the future.
These are pictures of my truck with some of the garbage picked that day as well as pictures from a recent logging road dump found near where we live.

Protect your forest day is a day when I donate my truck to clean up littered areas.
We ask for volunteers to donate their time to help with areas of their choice and with recycling what is possible.
The remainder I would relocate to the landfill.
